Hello....Can anyone recommend a brand of yogurt that is fat free but also is low in grams of sugar? I was disappointed to find that the fat free yogurt that I have been eating (that I thought was a healthy choice) has 32 grams of sugar per serving. I am looking for a yogurt that has less than 10 grams of sugar per serving.

Yes, isn't it amazing. They take away the fat and they increase the sugar levels. This is all a matter of taste. Whenever I pick up a container of yogurt, I always check the calorie level first. If you want a natural product without any artificial sugar substitutes, the only way you are going to get that is with a plain yogurt. Even vanilla yogurts have at least 18 grams of sugar in them. Go plain and add some fresh fruit, like apples, pomegranate seeds (yes, you can eat them and they are extremely good for you, clementine oranges -- easy to peel and no seeds. Plain yogurt may seem a little tart at first but after a while your taste buds will adjust.

Albertson's store brand low fat yogurts have 19-20 grams sugar, compared to around 40 grams in most national brands. I've never seen anything lower than that.
