I'm in nursing school and I promise you that it is completely ok to take the two of them together, just dose according to the packages, do not exceed. I have used that combo myself before.

yes, it is. There are even mixtures available over the counter that are a combination of Benadryl and Ibuprofen (Advil PM). The non-prescription dosage for Benadryl is 25mg, one over the counter tablet. The non-prescription dosage for Ibuprofen is 200mg, or one over the counter tablet. You can safely take one of each without any problem. The Benadryl will make you sleepy, but that's a normal side effect.

Benadryl and Ibuprofen do not interact with eachother. In fact benadryl is often given when someone has an allergic reaction to ibuprofen. If you are concerened call your local pharmacist and they will be able to tell you right off the bat.

Yes-there should be no problem. Some meds out there are a combination of the active ingredient in benadryl and ibuprofen.

Yes, but look at the product information on the back of the bottles just to be sure. Best bet is to ask a pharmacist and (s)he can check for drug interactions. I've taken this combo before with out any ill effects, but if you have doubts it is best to ask a professional that works in that area.

I'm no doctor, but I do not see why you can't. I have done it, with no ill side effects except that benadryl makes me drowsy.

I'm no doctor, but one is for a runny nose and one is for a head ache and they can both be used at the same time.

It is fine to take diphenhydramine with ibuprofen. Dose according to directions.

you should never mix meds unless you ask your doc first. Never take advice from someone who does not have a degree You could end up very sick.
