no, it has a totally different method of heating things up then a toaster, a micro wave moves the molecules in the food faster, causing it to heat up.. A toaster uses heated coils to cook, causing the toasty goodnes on the outside of the bread

Nope, you need something with a browning element that will quickly cook the outside while only warming the inside- a microwave cooks ALL particles. You could get the bread to harden in oh, I don't know, 3-4 minutes on high, but it wouldn't be toast- just hard bread.

Unfortunately, the technology in microwaves and toasters are too different to normally provide such a luxury. However, Samsung has a microwave toaster oven that they revealed in 2002, which has the ability to both function as a microwave and a toaster. For most people's microwaves, however, this is a function that remains to be seen.

No. Toasting is applying dry heat.

Some products like hot pockets use a special reflective material to get something like that effect, but normally no.

And don't put regular reflective metals (foil, metal utensils) in a microwave - they'll cause arcing and potentially ruin the appliance. Buy a $15 toaster if you can.

No. Toasting requires a direct appliction to heat to one part of the toast... microwaves use radiation to heat through so it's not possible

This is not possible but if you have a oven you can stick it in there untill toated, or if you have a hotplate put a frying pann on it and grill your bred untill toasted then turn untill the other side is toasted.
