No. I wouldn't even speak another word to them... happened in my last relationship of 3 years.

No. If they are unfaithful they have lost the privileged and trust of being with me. I would forgive the person to the point of being a friend, but not more. Years down the road if that person has remained in my life, and has regained my trust by being a good friend. I may consider another relationship.

I did forgive mine in the past. It's the only way to get through. There were always more factors then the affair.

Well... don't tell my bf, but yeah I think I could probably forgive it. Reason: monogamy is NOT NATURAL; we are not made for that; it is against our very nature!. We are actually predisposed to "serial monogamy:" one long-term exclusive relationship, then another, then another. Read Helen Fisher's book, "The Art of Love." She is a famous sociologist. She discusses how monogomy is really just a societal convention, and proves it by comparing different cultures and societies throughout history. I read it years ago, and it is very thought-provoking.

I would have a very hard time forgiving my husband if he did something like that to me. If I did forgive him it would be because of Jesus. However, it would be really hard for me to trust him again and I would not ever forget.

my reason for not forgiving this would be because I have more respect for myself then that, once they do that- it is completely over and no more words need to be said :) :) :)
