Hello,

There are strict guidelines as to what you can bring into the UK. Also, it matters if this is for your own personal consumption, or a gift for someone, or are you wanting to import a lot of chocolate!

The basic rules are: no fresh fruits, vegetables or life plants. No meats or foods from animal products.

Plain (not milk) chocolate should be ok, although it is up to the discretion of the custom's agent if they search your luggage.

I have found that it is helpful if the chocolate is in it's original unbroken wrapper and packaging, and in a plastic shopping bag if it's in your hand luggage.

I hope this is helpful. Have a nice holiday! :o)

Put it in your suitcase not hand luggage, that's what they're fussy about right now..
