Beginning from one Fertalized egg, that, by nature, split into two?
And so on and so on and so on and here they are...... in this forum.
And I am talking about one egg and one sperm, fertalized to create one complete human life (sometimes two or more as in multiples). Not skin cells or bacteria from a dirty toilet....
but, HUMAN LIFE, from a fertalized egg created only by one egg and one sperm. Ask any scientist and they will tell you the facts. Also, watch a sonogram from even a few weeks in the womb, before that, watch a high powered microfilm of fertalization in action. Science has done wonders in recent years!
P.s. Please give up the "Egg destroyed in menturation" or
"Sperm destroyed in masterbation". These alone are NOT human life, but living cells to yet be united with it's opposite to create this perfect or sometimes not perfect "Human Life"! BEAUTIFUL!

Hey Jett, how can they prove that a fetus can't feel pain? Ever ask one? Do you remember jamming your foot into your mother? No pain ey? and worse yet, no life?

"Accidental Abortion" has nothing to do with
"Purposeful abortion" of a life created by nature and/orGod. Get that straight.

There is much debate as to when a soul occupies the physical body ... some say as late as three months after birth. The jury is still out. While I am definitely against the obliteration of another human being, and killing life forms of any kind, I don't know which is correct, so difficult to take a side. (Just being honest)

Obviously, you have not understood my last answer. I will try a second time.
First. The biological process for reproduction is not the issue here. Most (and all) pregnancies will result in "new life". The process (with all its details) is not the issue.
In any pregnant there is a choice: carry the pregnancy to term or abort the pregnancy. Who makes that choice?
The "right to life" moment before they started killer workers in abortion clinics, said that God made that choice. My churches claim that abortion was forbidden. However, if there source was the [Christian] bible, they failed to point out which one of the 613 commandment forbade abortion. The simple fact that none of them do. Abortion has been around for a long time, but when God gave the 613 commandments, God was silent on this point. If we were taking about abortion according to Mosaic Law, life begins with blood, about six week later. So there is no biblical support pro or con to abortion.
If not God, what about the state? The state has spoken regarding a woman's choice. But the legalist answer does not satisfy you. You refer to the biological process and how abortion affects that process, actually, it terminates it. The law states when an abortion can be performed and who can perform it. But who decides? The pregnant woman. It is her body and it is her choice as long as it is in the legislative time limits.
Now back to you. So far God and the state are not good enough for you. You want to control the choice for every woman. You have stated over and over the biological process should define the choice. No matter what the situation. No matter if the biological process kills the mother.
Under that criterion, a woman who has a miscarriage has murder. [I know you think that I have gone to far, but think about it, the biological process was interfered with.] If you continue this the biological argument, you can clearly see that birth control also interferes with this process. If you are the one making the choice, you should pay for your decision.
We interfere with many biological processes using medicines. People have pointed that out, but you say we don't understand you question, that you are only talking human birth. But their answers we correct. Where do you draw the line in biological justification?
My preference is very simple: This issue is a matter for a woman and her physician. It should not be politicize or regulated. The choice should be the woman's and the woman's alone. Realistically, the choice made either way will be difficult, and we should be supporting the woman.

1) I've never heard of a pro-abortion person. does such a thing even exist? pro CHOICE sure, but being pro-choice doesn't even mean that you think abortion is a good or positive thing at all, but merely a choice that must be legally avaliable.
2) as was said... your assertion is not entirely correct.
who I am, was never as you mean it, such a form. the mortal form in which I inhabit, was, sure. but thats merely a vessel. does the fact that a car was once a pile of rocks on the ground, and rotted dinosaur bones, change the intelligence or status of the driver? no.
if anything quite the contrary. the flesh is of little consequence. the self is unaffected but the termination of an undeveloped potential host.
the flaw in your logic is one of, or both of 2 things, the idea that the soul comes into existance at conception, which is ABSOLUTELY absurd. its a simple fact biologically that countless fertilized eggs and further along than that, are aborted ENTIRELY NATURALLY through normal variation, the egg isn't neccesarily effectively planted in the uterus, or continues developing sufficiently, or is maintained... a million things between fertilization and birth, that even in an absolutely natural un-interfered-with state, can cause accidental abortion.
its not a person til it has a soul. while the soul *MAY* come in earlier, it is not NECCESARILY attached until at or near, (or even sometimes after) birth. hell not every human animal has a soul, some are "running" on merely the animal conciousness (even not counting the soul, the "host" animal alone is a very sophisticated one, and capable of learning to function in a sufficient way)

I see that faith-based spell checker is working overtime for you again...
So now the world is either Christian or "PRO-abortion?" Nice one. Way to use that Godlike love of humanity to pigeonhole anyone that doesn't share your beliefs.
So... what about a loving lesbian couple that uses donated sperm to create a wonderful human life? Are you still bright & shiny about that idea? How do you feel about aborting a "gay" baby?
And doesn't the idea that an entire person could, say, EVOLVE from just two cells instead of *POOF!* there you are go against your entire "creationist" theory?
In fact, couldn't we just re-label the Pro-Life movement as "Pro-Birth"? After all, where is your campaign to feed, clothe and educate each and every child born? If an abortion is prevented because a clinic is burned, yet that child dies of starvation, can you explain how that is any better?
Your reasoning and logic seem to run out of substance quite easily.

Yes and in light of the fact that this zygote has completely unique DNA and is self protecting, it is very important to realize all you have said. The fertilized egg itself emits hormones that tell the mothers body not to reject it. Self preservation. It attaches itself to the mothers body and just needs life support...something done for ill people that are outside of the womb by caring doctors and nurses. It is no less deserving of life than someone hooked up on a breathing machine and IV when they are recovering from surgery or a car accident. They just need a habitable environment in which to thrive.

um, I see a lot of babble, but what's your point?
I see why people think abortion is wrong, but I don't FOr SOOOO many reasons. and if you use the arguement, "what is your mother chose abortion" I'd have to say, then I would be none the smarter and I wouldn't be here to know the difference or what I was missing. Same for an aborted fetus.
Example: you have a rich uncle who left you millions in stock. You don't even know he exists, His lawyers made a mistake and the money is lost. They decide not to tell you at all. No harm done.

One egg and one sperm do not equal a complete human being, They create the potential or possibility, but not the end product; and in any case it is more than exponential cell division.
You do get credit for realizing that human pregnancy is a natural process independent of the influence of any supreme being.

So you are pro life, are you pro all life? I'm sorry, I can't respect pro-lifers unless they respect all 'life.'
It is scientifically proven that a fetus can not feel an ounce of pain until the 3rd trimester, when less than 1% of abortions take place. Animals however, can feel pain.
We can tell when things feel pain when they develop the necessary internal organs and sensory connectors to feel pain.
Last Time I checked humans were part of the animal kingdom chordata.

We don't care what you say anymore than you care about us. Have you noticed the extreme urban sprawl that started in the 80's. Population is getting out of hand. Why bring into this world unwanted kids. Why throw away your life, your future for a baby, niether planned or desired. Any thing to check the pop. growth is a good thing. That's why its legal. Thank God for abortion.

I think it all boils down to a difference of opinion as to when "life" actually begins. Since we have no real way of knowing or measuring when life ACTUALLY begins, this debate will go on and on and on. Unfortunately many would rather error on the side of destruction than on the side of caution. They would rather choose to believe there is no life and take the chance of killing an innocent rather than belive there is life and choose to let that life live.
pro-abortionist have always perplexed me. Aren't they glad their parents were pro-life? I wonder if they were allowed to go back in time and see their parents before they were born if they would support the notion of themselves being aborted?
