Of course it is silly this is YA. It is a given that it is frivolous I am wasting my time arguing about a Christmas tree topper.
If you are not going to have fun with this sign off!!

Well.... I'm Catholic and sometimes we put up the star, and sometimes we put up the angel made by my children when they were ion elementary school... so....
don't know what that makes me.... except perhaps.... confused? or multifaith?

I fall under neither of the religions listed here. I am a member of the church of Christ, and do not celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday b/c, well, I'm not Catholic. But we do still celebrate Christmas as a fun family time together. I have a Santa on my treetop. If I found an angel or a star that I liked better than my little black santa holding his lighted candle, I would not be opposed to putting either up. But, for right now, Mr. Claus has the place of honor!

i do no longer particularly have a call. I used to apply a lighted megastar. as quickly as upon a time I had a lighted poinsettia bloom, and that i used to have a lighted snowflake. the previous couple of years, it relatively is been a non-lighted angel, created from a doily. it relatively is tremendously, and fits the smaller man made tree I even have now. I used to have a extensive, particularly reasonable man made tree, even nonetheless it relatively is long gone now. i've got not had a real tree for approximately 17 years. Too high priced for in simple terms one season, and oh, those pine needles! If compelled to decide on between angel or megastar, i will %. megastar. i admire lighted toppers.

i am protestant, and i prefer the, star, no the angel, no the star, not the angel.
i guess it is the one i happen to like at the time, we have used both and at one time we had an Angel the was really nice, we also had a star of David with lights inside it, and we really liked that one also.
hope this helps.

we used a cross as a tree topper this year. Other years we usually had an angel on top. I am a protestant.

We have a Tazmanian Devil angel tree topper (got it at the old Warner Bros. store). I am currently a non-practicing Roman Catholic. But I guess you could have guessed that from my tree topper! :)
