Ooh..my daughter loves wires, plugs and extension cords. Distraction is good, you may want to get chairs or cushions to block the wires if you cannot otherwise get them out of his reach. If you aren't using those objects, unplug them and put them high. Try babysitting him in a different room, get several of his toys and let him explore where he can't see the wires. Out of sight, out of mind usually. Good Luck!

Unfortunately this is just something that happens at this age. Just make sure the house is babyproofed. Outlet covers in the unused outlets. Wires should be hidden behind another object or should be contained in a wire babyproofing item.
And just watch very closely and distract when your sibling starts to try to play with things like wires.

The only thing I can say is to get something to guard the wires and keep a better eye on him.

You need to get your parents to move the wires out of his reach. Two.You need to find ways to distract his attention away from the wires and other things you don't want him to get into. Also put up gates across doorways to keep him out of other rooms where you can't watch him.

Keep him occupied so he doesn't get distracted, 1 years olds r always hard to deal with, but play a lot, do learning things, read to them until he falls asleep. just keep him very bussy and it will be ok. maybe u can also put boxes in front of the things he likes to get into even if he fusses or cries until he gets used to it. gud luc.And the last to people who answered before me had good ideas also. gates are good

This is what every baby does and the only way to get them to stop is to pay attention to them. Play games, read books, do puzzles, tickle, etc. My guess is you are quite a bit older than him and you should try (as hard as it is) to cherish the moments you have. One day you will go off to college...

The best thing is distraction! At this age they understand no, but usually ignore it and don't quite understand punishment.
