This guy asked me to a dance. I'm 17, he's 16, we're in the same grade and school. But, I'm not sure if he wants to get romantically involved too, as in bf and gf. We talk some, and e-mail a lot. And, I e-d him that he could back out if he wanted and he said that's not an option. Then, I asked him why me and not some other pretty girl who goes to our school...I'm average looking, and he came up with a paragraph of reasons. Do u think he wants more that just to go to a dance? Should I ask him if he wants more, or just wait and see? Am I exaggerating a simple situation?
I want to be with him.
And not in a physical way. Teenagers doing that=eew!

well, i suggest you wait and see. asking may make him either:
a) feel like you didnt already have that in mind
or
b) make him feel uncomfortable about the whole situation...
if you two have a good connection and wanna go out, go for it!
and honey, i love that you sed not physical...you two are at leat good, modest teens.

It seems like he does want something more than just to goto the dance...y don't you talk to him?
btw one thing that bothers me about girls is that..Why do you always wonder what a guy see's in you? If a guy likes you..it's because there is something special about you guys that us guys really like...
but yeah..Teenagers should not do that..actually only married ppl should do that!

i agree with the teen thing...ew. anyway, the best thing you can do right now is wait. he obviously likes you thats why hes taking you to the dance. but if you are the impatient kind you could ask him if he wanted to go out. but i would give him time.

well yes ask him if he wants more, usually guys do that to ask a girl out with out saying it directly forward, i know I'm a guy. all in all do what feels right. good luck
