You don't describe the bumps--But I'm not a doctor either. Obviously I would suggest calling the pediatrician's office and describing the bumps--They'll tell you whether or not to be worried.

My nephew had little whitish bumps all over for the first few months but they were normal (something about mucus covering being obsorbed by the skin?) He also went through about three months where he'd get red bumps/rashes on his face, back of his neck especially which was a heat rash and would go away when we'd remove some clothing.

However, if they are red and look like a rash and are on his face, arms, and chest it is likely an allergic reaction to a detergent or his formula and I'd call a doctor ASAP. Good luck!

okay i have a niece and I'm 11 years old and i know alot about babys so here is what i would do go to a store and buy any baby lotion and you will have to put it on her/him a lot okay
1.just get a wet towel and just tap it softly on the baby's face.
2.then get the lotion and put it on the baby's face not to much but just right okay.Just put it on the baby in the morning, afternoon, evening, night!!
3.it might take a few weeks so don't rush !!

PS go to the store and look for the green bottle lotion if it doesn't work tell me !!Or go to the doctor i don't want any thing to happen cause i care alot about babys !!

My baby boy had this too. It's likely he's allergic to something like his blanket, the milk, the lotion, etc. My son was a summer baby and had this, but I got some oatmeal or something and it went away. Notify your pediatrician too. Now if his scalp has a bumpy dry look that may be cradle cap. Call his doctor right away.

When I get red bumps, I use Dial Antibacterial Soap. It may help with your infant's problem, but I don't know.

could be an alergic reaction to something. I'd probably take him to the doctor.
