The best answer comes from three previous responders.
1. Replenish the bacteria in your digestive system.
2. Don't change what you eat, so much as how you eat it.
3. There are charcoal tablets that absorb gas in your system and can give you some relief.
4. If these things are ineffective, there is likely a more serious problem that should be addressed with your doctor.
If you took antibiotics prior to the onset of your symptoms, you may have just killed the natural flora of your digestive tract. Eat yogurt with active cultures and drink acidophilus milk to get them back. I have not heard of the milk the previous poster mentioned, but I would check it out if I had that problem.

You may not think you are eating too much but you are!! You are also eating too fast or while under stress. Eat your meals in a relaxing setting and chew your food well. If you are passing a lot of gas then you are overloading your digestive tract or eating too many gassy foods such as beans, milk, cucumbers etc. When you overload the system the food fermenting in your tract will produce voluminous amounts of gas. The burping is either from soda pop or emotional eating, and as I stated before eating too fast. Gas x etc will do nothing for the gas in your lower bowel. It will help you belch the gas out of your stomach but is not a permanent solution. Also, lie on your left side if you have gas pains with your knees slightly bent , this will encourage you to pass wind.

Drink kefer. It's a probiotic milk. Chug some of that, then make sure you drink some every day after. Then you'll notice the gas is gone. Keep some around and sip a bit every day or two to manage it.

The bacteria in your system that usually does the digesting have died. The probiotic milk replaces it.

Has to be something specific that you are eating. Otherwise try eating coal, apparently that soaks up the excess

GAS-X usually helps. Just lay off anything that causes extra gas, i.e., beans and broccoli.

get put in jail. And when your in jail, you might get beat up or stabbed, especially if you do it while eating. I'm sure you might find a way to stop at that time.
