I'm 54.

Stopped 1 for having expired tags (had paid, but had not gotten around to putting them on).

And twice when they were checking for drunk drivers.

Hey, most cities/counties have a Police Ride-Along Program - where you can ride with a cop and see what its like. Give it a try. I did it several times (when I was in my 20's). And have forever looked at the neighborhoods with a different view.

I use my car a fair bit for work etc. and have often been stopped at the annual R.I.D.E. program and other times, when police go on a stop and examine campaign checking for say, the wearing of seat belts witch are mandatory here in Ontario.

I am in my 50's and I have discovered one thing. Don't think
about being stopped; if you obsess about it and keep thinking
about it, you will be stopped. Just obey the law as best you
can and live a clean life!! In my younger days, I was stopped;
don't wish to divulge too much info.
