This guy asked me to a dance. I'm 17, he's 16, we're in the same grade and school. But, I'm not sure if he wants to get romantically involved too, as in bf and gf. We talk some, and e-mail a lot. And, I e-d him that he could back out if he wanted and he said that's not an option. Then, I asked him why me and not some other pretty girl who goes to our school...I'm average looking, and he came up with a paragraph of reasons. Do u think he wants more that just to go to a dance? Should I ask him if he wants more, or just wait and see? Am I exaggerating a simple situation?
I want to be with him.
And not in a physical way. Teenagers doing that=eew!

You know, the worst thing you can do for a relationship before you even get into it is to over-analyze it. Gotta let things develop naturally.
He likes you. You like him. Go with the flow.

If you want to be with him, then what are you asking about? I mean if you want to be with him, then just go. If he wants more than b/f, then back off then, but if you want him just as a b/f, then go, and get together. Look, if a guy asks a girlt o a dance, or somethin then he likes you. I cant tell how much, but he likes you. Just go, and ask him to be the b/f, and be uniqe. I asked out a guy first, and he was proud that i asked first. ( Results dont matter ) Look, if you like thius guy, then just go with him.
P.S. Just to tell you, i wouldnt ask him why he chose you. Bad idea right there, but if he gave you a lot of answers then your answer should be on that page!
Good Luck!!!

a guy would not go the trouble of writing a paragraph about why he wants to take you to a dance unless there was more to it than the dance. show some confidence in yourself!!

he most likely just wants to go to the dance, and maybe date you,,,,,, that, dating , should come first, before any consideration of boyfriend/girlfriend,,, and all of that before physical,,,,yes, teens nowdays seem to almost not know what dating is for,,,, its the time you get to know someone and decide if you really like them,,,,,,, teens seem to become boyfriend/girlfriend before they ever even date or spend any time together,,,,,,
