I believe that there is a being (people may call this being God) who is responsible for the creation of everything. Just because it is not physically possible to show proof of creation, it is also not possible to definitely claim that there is no God. The mere idea of believing that you just exist because you do, is simply ridiculous. The term "faith card" is not appropriate in this discussion, as "faith" is an association with religion. The belief in creation does not necessarily mean the baloney found in the Bible. I cannot place any credibility in biblical creationism as the stories are just unbelievable nonsense.

If God doesn't exist, then the Christian is wrong for saying He does exist. Either way, someone is going to be wrong.

Now, if we are smart enough to reason this out (that is, that both can't be right), then we are smart enough to reason that the universe cannot come into existence by itself. Our reason demands that there must be Someone who made it. As the Proverbs say: "The fool has said in his heart, there is no God." He is a fool because it is plainly obvious that things don't make themselves. Only something infinite could make something finite, not vice-versa.

No scientific fact has ever disproven the Bible. Scientific theories may be against the Bible, but theories are not facts. For example, Archeological facts have has verified the Bible countless times, and there has never been an archeological fact that has disproven the Bible.

There are many things in life that we cannot touch, see or smell, but we know they exist, because of the actions or consequences that is a result of their presence.

You cannot touch love, it is intangible and can only be recognized by the actions of the individuals expressing this emotion.

Hate and negativity we witness the results of that emotion all the time, yet one cannot touch or see it....only the pain and suffering that originates from hate.

What I am saying is there are many emotions, feelings and beliefs that we cannot touch or see but they exist.

We cannot see the wind, but we certainly can feel it...and the profound impact it can have on our lives.

Anyone who has ever had their car actually sway when driving because of the strong gust of wind, understands what I am saying, twisters, tornados, hurricanes. With all man's knowledge and technology I have yet to read of him preventing any of the above.

I don't think you have to be religious to believe in God, each person has their own reasons, walk their own path and has to figure it out for themselves at some point.

There is no one single answer...how could there be on a planet of more then 6 billions people, each one a small miracle.

I can only say safe journey, on your own path, that only you can walk...and discover and realize so many things along the way.

Simple answer There is design in the Universe. For their to be design there must be a designer (God).
Complex answer. To be an atheist you must believe that something must have been here eternally because something cannot have come from nothing, that is impossible. However, scientifically the universe cannot have been eternal because all of the gases would have been used up. For example the sun burns Hydrogen, if the universe is eternal of the hydrogen would have been used up a long time ago.

There is no known natural law through which matter can give rise to information , neither is any physical process or material phenomenon known that can do this !! Information cannot arise from disorder by chance . Of this we are absolutley sure . Dr. Werner Gitt * Director & Professor @ Institute of Physics & Technology of Germany ..It always takes ( Greater ) information to produce information , and ultimately information is the result of INTELLIGENCE !! God is the Superior Intelligence that created it all , and that includes me , yes ; and even you ..

There is no physical proof that there is or isn't a God. I'd rather live my life as if there is and that I have a chance of eternity with God in Heave and die to find out there isn't, than live as if there is no God and end up spending eternity in Hell.

How old are you? The reason I ask is to get you to think to yourself if you really know the meaning of the word "Faith".
Some youngsters don't know the meaning. You see when you decide to ask Jesus to save you and you repent of your sin and want to live for Him, He comes to dwell in you, then you will KNOW. The decision you make is the Faith He is looking for but if you think you have no sin to confess to Him and repent of, you are kidding yourself for God cannot forgive a sinless person He knows there are none. Be safe.

The person above me is right. But why do you talk about God and religion so much if you are an atheist? I know other people are always on here talking down on atheist (which is wrong because were not to judge although we disagree with atheist beliefs) but why stoop to their level and do it back? Especially if you're so confident in your beliefs? why start battles? aren't you better than that? Why keep worrying about other people and what THEY believe? Let it go.....
