It depends what kind of medication is being taken, if any. If it is Exelon in pill form, switch to the patch. Unexplained weight loss is a factor in Alzheimer's and fear definitely plays a huge role.

Those things can also be caused by any medications given to patients with Alzheimers.

Medications can cause nausea, anything can happen when the brain starts to die. We al have different symtoms, have a doctor evaluate the patient.

nausea no.......loss of appetite sometimes mostly due to memory and sensory changes
