You know, year after year, Jesus seems to get pushed back against the wall at Christmas and Santa looms ever larger.
You never see the former with little toddlers on his knee at the local mall.
He never gives out toys and presents like the white-bearded one.
He doesn't have a cool, reindeer-powered chariot.
What's going on here?

The real guy the "Santa" story is based on wouldn't like what we do, either. Nicholas used to give money to poor girls, so they could get married, and not end up prostitutes (it happened alot back then). Eventually gave his whole fortune away. He'd be pretty disgusted by our show.

Mans human nature! 'thats what's going on here!!
Jesus will 'never' be in the 'forefront' of christmas again.
It just fulfills scripture (if you read the bible) you should know that 'in the last days' he will be rejected and pushed aside.
Man (the world) in general are only interested in the commercial side of this 'most holy' time of year.
Christ will 'never' again have his proper place of sovereignty,
not until he returns to this earth..
A sad fact but true, even christians are falling prey to this worldy
way of celebrating christmas, leaving Christ far behind..

People are continuing their fall from Grace. None of us want to give anymore, we all want. We are like the people of the ancient city of Edom, interested in only ourselves and no one else.
