i never heard of it but i saw it on a comerical to stay above the influence it was about these kids putting leches on yor skin and stuff does anybody know anything about that??

yeah i saw that comerical too! but yeah i have heard of it but never seen anybody do it! but basicly what the leaches do is the suck your blood and the make you feel light headed! weird huh? it's actually pretty silly i mean why risk passing out when you could ride a roller coaster or spin around and around 10 million times? well i guess it's about "how long" you feel light headed!

I don't know about the commercial, but leeches are used in modern medicine to stimulate blood flow into dying tissue. For instance, when someone gets gangrene, the tissue and flesh start to die, and it spreads. They put leeches on the dying flesh, and they attach themselves and suck the blood up through the dying tissue, and bring it back to life.
Pretty freaky...I think they'd have to medicate me pretty heavily to be able to do that.

Actually Leaches are used in medicine.They help to relieve swelling and infections by removing the blood.

I have seen the medical use for leeches on plastic surgical sites that are swelling and not doing well
