Should I just deduct 10 points from the systolic and diastolic BP? Say, if I get 130/90, it would mean 120/80? Is this correct or should I just purchase a new one? Which is better, digital or manual? Thanks.

Nope, time to purchase a new one my friend. As cheap as the devices are now, there is no reason to try to salvage it.

Manual is better and no you can not use the BP cuff if the pointer is on 10. You need a new cuff
