It depends on many other things:

(1) If you are doing other exercise, like playing tennis, weight training, etc
(2) How fast you run for how long, some people will just walk on a inclined treadmill to reduce the impact
(3) Also depends on your target heart rate and age, some older people with years of training may go for 80% or more of their max HR, and some younger ladies may just go for 70% of their max HR to reduce unwanted fat
(4) Other obligations you have

Well, if you don't have any other work-out on your schedule, and by assuming you are young, you may work on it every other day for 45 minutes (that includes your warm-up) and do the stretching and shower afterwards, so you have to allocate around 1 hour each time.

They add up to 3.5 hours each week as a start for you.

You should be doing at least 30 minutes of cardio exercise every day. That is the current recommended guideline. BUT you need to spend those 30 minutes in yoru target heart rate zone. Your zone is 220 minus your age. You can find your target heartrate by wearing a heartrate monitor (available at sporting good stores) or by feeling for and counting your heartbeats on your pulse points. So, that means that 30 minutes is in addition to warm up and cool down time.

Whether you decide to get your cardio exercise on a treadmill, doing an aerobics tape, or taking a spinning class is up to you.

Have fun!

If you are just doing it for the health benefits you should get on the treadmill most days of the week for at least 30 minutes. If doing it to lose weight you should do it most days of the week 6-7 days for at least an hour.

depending on what you are wanting to accomplish. if you are wanting to maintain weight 3 days would be great. if you are wanting to lose weight 5-6 days. each time you are on the treadmill it should be for at least 30 mins.

You can walk on a treadmill every day if you want. Minimum would be every other day, at least 30 minutes per day.

depends on what your trying to do... this time of year we have a lot of snow, so i run on it every night and go outside every morning. I run twice a day, but im training for half and full marathons. Most people a mile or two every day or every other day is more than enough. The most important thing is to keep your diet in order and get a routine and KEEP it.

3 times a week is good. Overexertion can be very dangerous and deplete vital nutrients in the body. Everything in moderation is good.

it depends on the results that you want. are you trying to burn calories and work on your cardio or build mucle. i would say at least once a day. but when your running really push yourself so that youre exhausted at the end of your workout.
