Can't really say it doesn't matter for anyone...but in some cases no, it doesn't matter. It just depends on the maturity level and personalities of two people to be able to make a relationship work. You can try it out for a while and see how it goes, it is probably hard to know otherwise. You might find that you don't have all that much in common and it won't work out, but it could just as easily be a great match!

As long as you have things in common and get along then age shouldn't matter at all. As a matter of fact the older you get the less it seems to matter. I've certainly met 18 year olds that seem wise enough to be 30 and 30 year olds immature enough to be 18.

only if it matters to you--she is legally an adult, so it's "allowed" and in the eyes of the law "ethical", but that is kind of a big gap. Although 7 years is not that big of a difference, but in betwen 18 and 25, a lot happens to people. Those are the pivotal years of adult person's life where they really focus on growing up and making decisions---such as education, career choices, etc. You may be on a different level than her, or you may not. But if you are on a different level than her, maybe it could be a good thing---she could learn from you and vice-versa.

No that sounds normal to me. Typically girls dat guys about 3-5 yrs older and some date guys 5-7 yrs older. Im 19 with a 27 yr old boyfriend and we have been doing just fine. The whole 21 thing might mess up the availibilty of places to go to but other then that listen to your heart not society.

It usually doesn't, age difference in the single digits is not that big of a deal if you have a lot in common and share the same goals. Girls are usually more mature at 18 than boys and that might be part of the reason she is attracted to you.

I'm 29,he's 52, NO age is only a number, and 7 isn't bad.
i've been with mine for 2 1/2 yrs.
it's all in what you like, what you have in common.

i have never liked guys my age, this is the oldest one, but still quite likable.

women mature faster then men,.... fact.

she probably likes you because you (all assumptions) are past the party days, have your own apartment, own a car, have a job, and are mature.
all the things i love about my bf.....and more.

good luck, and if someone disses you, ignore them.

No, if you really like her and the feeling is mutual then it shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure you know that what matters is that you get along with her and that there is communication between you and her. You are the one who is dating and if you feel great when you're with her and that she is mature enough for you then it is not a problem.

depends on the situation...but no, age is just a number...and you're both adults...will it matter when she's 28 and you're 35? Be warned though: age is a number, wisdom is an experience.
