Stop making noise, voice or sound ? Which one is correct ?
During the class, my students didn't talk but kept making noise.
Can I say," stop making noise (sound, voice)" ?
Which one is corrent ?

By the way, if possible ,could you please offer some sentences useful for disciplining students in class? For example , stand by the corner, keep quiet etc ....

I am an English teacher(non-native speaker) , I dont know what to say to manage the class.

Stop making noise is correct. As for the part of discipine, I don't know. Just try your best to command respect. But usually, that's
how students are going to act.

Ouch.

Stop making noises.

If that doesn't work: "Stop making any sounds."

Depending on the grade. "I'll send you to Principal (insert name of principal here) if you don't behave."

Say something in your native language really fast and look like you are angry. It should shut them up.

Some teachers keep a paddle hung on their wall. . .they never use it, but it could work as a good display.

A couple of my teachers once had a jar that said on it "Ashes of Problem Students" and when opened, it has chunks of ashes in it. It scared elementary students.

you shouldnt be a teacher if you havent had training to calm your class down.Usually its who wants extra homework or who would like to go to the principals office or who would like a saturday school? But you need to find out your schools policy so you dont say the wrong thing. Please be quiet or you will be removed from the class room I would think. Its affecting the learning of other students .

My teachers always told us(the students) to stop making noise, or they told us to be quite please. I wouldn't expect the students to stay quite the whole class.

How about, "knock off the noise" that pretty much covers anything they are doing ;)

you should say "stop fidgeting". By fidgeting, you can make irritating sounds that may amount to "noise"
