Jesus came to earth to live the perfect life, reveal His divinity in specific ways, to specific people, died as a sacrifice for the sins of His people, then rose on the third day. Only one who was and is perfect could be the perfect sacrifice, thereby justifying and redeeming His people from their sins. Through this sacrifice, the elect, His people, now stand in the righteousness of Christ and are not judged for their works. The debt has been paid, the work done, we have been justified, redeemed and saved from eternal death through Christ alone.
Those who are saved, are the elect, the chosen people of God, not by works or by who we are, but by the grace and mercy of God. There is nothing we can do to add to it, nor bring it about. There comes a day in the lives of all the elect when the Holy Spirit awakens us from our dead state and we realize our position in Christ. Some would say that is the day they were "saved". Actually, we are saved from the foundations of the earth, our names in the lambs book of life, so that day would be our day of awakening rather than salvation. Some would say this isn't fair, we didn't have any freewill in this, and they are right, we don't. All humans are born into sin, with a sin nature. God chooses some for salvation, when by rights, He could just allow all to suffer the price for our sin. It is for His good pleasure and for His glory and the glory of Christ that He chooses some for salvation.
Ephesians 1 and Romans spell this out very clearly.

The Gospel message is basically this:
God created man , but we did wrong things and went against him. He loves us so much that he made himself into a human form and came to earth. He was perfect and never sinned. He cared for us, performed many miracles, and told the wonders of God to others. Some people turned from Jesus, and crucified Him for a crime he was not guilty of. As foretold, Jesus rose after 3 days of being dead, and now if we accept him as our savior, we will have eternal life with him in heaven!
God has changed my life so much and he can change anyones-even the worst sinners. He will forgive you of your sins if you ask!

Dear Rick, here is the Gospel message that is biblical and is the basis of finding salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I would like to begin by asking you a few questions
Would you Consider yourself to be a good person?
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. Listen carefully, God didn’t see me as the “nice guy” I imagined myself to be… and he doesn’t see you that way either. Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell. Conscience means "with Knowledge" Every time you told a Bold faced lie, you knew it was wrong, every time you stole something, you kew it was wrong, its not like its tucked so deep within your subcontious that you dont know right from wrong. God has given you this conscience and despite that fact you have rebbled against it, the BIBl makes very clear that the penalty for our sin and rebellion is Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name. There is only one response to the Gospel, the Bible makes clear that God Commands every man to repent (turn from sin). Not only do we need to just repent, but we also need to place our faith and trust in Jesus, and the moment we do the BIBle promises that we wil pass from death to life. either this is true or it isnt, the only way to know for sure is for you to take the first stepp.
God Bless

The "gospel" or "good news" message is that Jesus died for our sins. A sinless God/man came to earth of a virgin, died on the cross for all of our sins, past present and future, was buried and in 3 days was ressurrected and was seen by many and made it possible for God to give life to the dead when we place our faith in that God/man and what He did ALONE for our salvation.
I responded to it by believing in that and placing my faith and trust in Him who did it.

Gospel is the "good news" of redemption, a sacrifice for sin. I believe it and accept it.

Christ died for our sins in accordance to the scriptures. . . he replaced into buried and rose back the 0.33 day (a million Corinthians 15:3,4) we could desire to purpose to be "all issues to all and sundry" whilst sharing it. What makes it no longer ordinary is that, except the Holy Spirit is working on that individual, he/she would be able to no longer understand that they seem to be a sinner (repent = exchange one's suggestions approximately sin) who has indignant God (Romans 3:10 and 3:23). various prayer could desire to pass into it before. I regularly tell people to invite the Lord into their life (Romans 10:13). however eternal life is a unfastened present, it may desire to be won (Romans 6:23, John a million:12, Ephesians 2:8, and John 3:sixteen). Having mentioned all that, that's quite a secret to me how people get saved. my very very own adventure, and it sounds quite stupid, is that i did no longer have faith till i presumed.
