i bought my mother a 400 dollar necklace for christmas. she said shes always wanted a real pearl necklace. i felt so warm when i bought it. i have 30 thousand coming in i felt that i wouldnt ever be able to buy her something like this again i put it on my charge card. its only 150 a month. do you feel it was to expensive . its a one time thing. if my husbad found out he woudl be mad

It is sweet of you to do something like that for your mother. You will be happy you did it someday when she is gone.
You are taking the chance that your husband will find out and then the problem would be worse.
I would simply tell him firmly that you have not gotten the chance to show your mother how much she means to you and that it is something that you truly wanted to do. If he gets mad then that's his problem.. he'll get over it. Your mother will never get over your kindness.

As its what your mother wanted, I think that it was very kind of you to get it for her. It won't take you long to pay it off so I think that it was a very kind gesture. Providing that you are happy with what you have done and you can afford it that is the most important thing

There should NOT be any secrets kept from your husband. He should not keep any from you either. He needs to be in on this decision. Your mother is an important part of your life. He needs to realize that and you BOTH need to begin studying the BIBLE TOGETHER! Have a great holiday season.
