Monotheists - since everything that happens happens according to "God's" will, then it's "His" will that I'm a Pagan.
And If I'm supposed to change, according to "His" will, it'll happen without your preaching at me.
So you're wasting your time AND working against "His" will.
So, how about getting your ego out of the way and letting "Him" work in "His" way, instead of yours?

What part of "getting your ego out of the way" did you not understand? Jesus told his APOSTLES to spread the word, and as I'm a student of religions (I'm working on my thesis for an M.A. in Comparitive Religion) if "God" wants me to change, "God" will do that without you or your "you better listen to us" or your witnessing.
After all, I'm READING what the apostles had to say. Do you think you're better at treaching than they were?

God's plan was to allow free will among all of his children. It doesn't mean they will always make the right decision, but they have unlimited chances (through karma and reincarnation) to "get it right". You are naturally atrracted to Paganism because it is where you can learn the most relevant lessons for your particular place in time. We are all in different places in our journey and all naturally attracted to different belief systems. All paths (although some are shortcuts and some are long and winding roads) lead to the same destination.
(As for those who try to convert you ... as annoying as it can be, they are only following the teachings of their religion to go forth and spread the gospel according to their beliefs.)
You, my sister, are exactly where you are supposed to be, as all are!

It is interesting when an individual believes that his personal conversion should be a matter for the Almighty's attention. The divine principle of 'free will' means that God accepts each individuals decision, but each decision has consequences.
A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to get a householder to "change". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Raven,
Your words are true and right on the spot when it comes to a persons free will. You can choose to be whatever you like in this wonderful world of our. And the best part is the country we all live in will even help you with many programs that benefit people like yourself. You just have to shout, Yes.
As far as the Will of God goes, He is the Great I AM and will be and do as He wants.
All He wants from you is to choose His Son Jesus Christ and have eternal life and share with Him everything. Think about it.><>

Jesus says in the bible, to go into all the world and preach the gospel to the lost. The fact is no one is guaranteed tomorrow, so why wait to get things right between you and God? You may be here tomorrow. Ill bet there are allot of people in hell saying "why didn't I just listen to what God was trying to tell me?"
I preach Christ crucified so that if my eyes meat their eyes on the day of judgment and they are still in their sins, they cant say to me," why didn't you tell me how to save myself?" I am free of their blood.

God's will is something we are to choose to follow, not something we are forced into submission of accomplishing.
John 7:17
If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
1 Thessalonians 4
3It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; 6and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. 7For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

cool someone else who sees the same logic as me!! it's just like prayer. when a christian asks for something from god and recieve it, they call it a blessing. yet when they don't recieve it, they say "well it must not have been part of god's plan." so basically god already knows whether or not he's going to give you something so there's no point in asking for it.

Hey, I believe it is all part of the Divines plan.
My father prayed to God that if he would give him a son that he would give that son to him, me thinks he was thinking ministerial.
Well, my mother gave birth to me, my folks dedicated me to God and lo and behold, I'm a Pagan Priest. "God's" will be done.

What if it's God's will for someone to witness to you? What if the people talking to your are all a part of God's plan to reveal himself to you?

If it is His plan for you to believe it's also His plan how you hear about it, and maybe Christians are that part of the plan, so you better listen to us.
