Visit www.stutteringhelp.org and check out the areas that pertain to your age group. Make sure you look at "brochures for all ages" and "check your library" as well as the referral pages for people who specialize in treating stuttering.

We had a discussion about this in a psychology class that I took. One way they suggested people to quit stuttering is by singing, because when you sing you use a different part of your brain than you do for speech. By singing it's supposed to retrain your brain so you don't stutter.

I read that fear of stuttering can make it worse. if you can master or feel comftable speaking to a group of people then u will be fine 1-1.
