ok i have this friend that i like he told me that he likes me too but he tells me that he still thinks that i like my ex n i dont get it too because he told me a bunch a times he cares but is ignoring me. im almost going on vacation n i want to know whats going on ,but im scared to ask because im scared about wht hes gonna say.my friend tells me just to go ask him whats going on but i still need more advice. I don't know why this question keeps coming up but think about it for a second. Don't you deserve to be treated better? He's telling you that you like your ex AFTER you had enough guts to tell him you like him? You are being honest and upfront. He is not. You have feelings for him, you expressed them. That's how it's supposed to work, but you deserve someone who likes you and had enough guts to show you and to tell you the same thing. Take it from me, relationships work a whole lot better when the boy likes you and treats you like you deserve to be liked and at the same time you like your bf and are not afraid to tell him and show him. You sound fairly young, but forget about what he feels, think about how you deserve to be treated and that you are worth a whole lot more. Why wreck a holiday over a jerk? You should enjoy life. The real thing won't come for a few years yet, even so, with everyone you go out with you always deserve to be treated like you are worth it.

Is there any truth in what he is saying? Do you still have feelings for your ex? Is there a reason that he feels that you still want to be with your ex?? Examine your feelings.
If your positive that your over your ex then you need to let him know that you want to be with him and not your ex!!
he may just be afraid of getting hurt or he doesnt want to go out and is using that as an excuse. But your never gonna know untill you talk to him.
But if he is right you need to give yourself sometime to get over him and look at the reasons you are not together. good luck.

You are lucky to have a good friend. You should do what he or she said to you. Even if you are scared, it is the truth that you want to hear right? If he says what you don't want to hear about, just move on. it's not going to be the end of the world sweety. If you don't, your conscience and mind will bug you forever.

i think you should do exactly what your friend told you to do
he's probably feeling exactly the same as you...he's confused and afraid of rejection.....
so just stiffen your spine....be the mature one...and go tell him you are interested in dating, that you are not, nor do you want or have anything to do with your ex in the here and now or in the future.......good luck and congratulations, if it works out

i would just tell him that if you wanted to be with your ex then you wouldnt be wondering how he feels in the first place. you would be talking to your ex!!
