Yes, you can find out more about visa to U.S. by asking the American Embassy in your country. Meanwhile, you can ask the immigration lawyer for advice and then apply for the green card. You do not need to marry someone if you do not want to.Believe me You have more chance to do by the book than being undocumented workers in America.

Anyone can make application to become a resident of the United States (from where you live, not inside the States if you're here illegally), but it often takes many, many years, depending on which country you are living. You could also find an employer willing to hire you and sponsor you for an H1B visa, for example, but you can only stay in the States as long as this company employs you - you must leave when the job is finished. Marrying an American just to get a green card is illegal and difficult - there is a very thorough interview you must go through where they could tell if you're lying.
To answer your question - yes, non-citizens can join our military, which MIGHT give them a boost in becoming a resident, but that's not guaranteed. And no, even if you have a baby in America, that does not guarantee you can stay - there are many cases where mothers have been deported and their children either go with them, or have to stay behind with relatives.

Join the miliary, I know the Navy will let you in for sure. And yes, it IS true. My husband is a Navy veteran and he served with non-citizens. They learned a skill, got a college degree with military incentives and bonuses, and got citizenship as well. If you don't believe me, I suggest you get yourself down to the nearest Navy recruiter and ask.
As a side note, CNN estimates there are roughly 33,000 illegal men and women serving in our armed forces right now. I didn't mean to accuse you personally of being illegal, only to point out that non-citizens do serve in our military.

u didnt mention if u have a greencard or if ur illegal.
They only ways u can become a citizen is either marying a us citizen(which is not ur preference) or apply for a citizenship. U can apply for citizenship after 4 yrs after u have received ur greencard.
Thn again, if ur an illegal alien, marriage is the best option for u

Dieing while serving in the military will give you citizenship and it can also give your family citizenship if they live in the US (and if they so chose) but dieing defeats the purpose of citizenship.
But living and military service can help a long way to earning citizenship.

you won't become a citizen, but if you have a baby in the states you will be allowed to stay, since the baby will be a citizen.
