Probably by his ideas of helicopters, which helped to put out the fires in the B.C. Interior during the summer of 2003 and saved our homes.
You want vivid? Think hot- VERY HOT. Those were huge fires, man- and the helicopters definitely helped.

Yes he has, very much so. I have studied him for several years and have been lucky enough to handle some of his original works. It's strange really when you look at someone's life in great depth. You feel as though you know them personally. What a privilage this is with a man like Leonardo da Vinci.

I saw the Mona Lisa in Chicago at the art museum when it toured the USA in the 70's.
When I entered the room and edged my way through the crowd to stand in front of the velvet ropes, and the armed guards, I was literally mesmerized and couldn't speak. It was much larger than I expected, and full of cracks that don't show when you see pictures of it.
It has stayed in my memory like it was yesterday, and has had a profound effect on me.

he hasnt other than widening my appreciation of renaissance art. i saw a documentry on telly about him some years ago and i believe he was a true genius, not because of his paintings but because of his inventions. the parachute, the tank and the helicopter to name a few and all from a time when they thought the world was flat.

He invented the pistola agua (water pistol), which I had a lot of fun with as a kid.
