I'm dating a really shy girl right now that does not say much. Any suggestions on how to get her to open up a little?

You can force her to do so. take it easy with her. The more she feels comfortable with you the more she opens up.

The best thing you can do with anyone who is shy is to give them a litte time and space until they warm up to you and feel comfortable around you. Do your best to assure her throough actions that you will not harm her in any way. Usually in time, most people will warm up once they get to know someone. However, if you two have been dating awhile and still shy then she has deeper issues.

Be funny around her that should open her up to laughter if she likes you and she will relax when she laughs cos she will realise she can be herself. Be steady she probably really likes you thats why she is shy. She seems like a sweet heart treat her like a princess these girls are hard to find. Good luck. :)

Let her be for right now, ´cause if you pressure her, she´ll probably close down even more. Instead, if you accept her as is, she´ll start feeling more comfortable and eventually open up.

Well it's not something that will happen overnight. When she becomes more comfortable with you, she will naturally start to open up. So show her that you are there for her, and gain her trust. These things take time.
