I am a really caring guy and there is this girl I like, We are both sophmores and have known each other a long time and we both know we like each other. She is mostly "anti touch " she was when I met her and for alittle while after. but we have grown closer and i really like her, but I think she will not like to hold hands or hug, and I respect her so I don't. even though I am a more touchy kind of guy. and I mean with everybody I always love hugs any time from most anyone.SO WHAT SHOULD i DO TO GROW CLOSTER IN OUR RELATIONSHIP. and I want mature answers, and please do not mention sex I am saving that for marraige.

You seem like such a sweet heart. I think my opinion would be to tell her how you feel, tell her that you like her and you dont want to hold hands cos your scared that she wont like it. Talking about you feelings will help you to know where she stands with you. and if she backs away compltely atleaset you know and you can move on.
And what a great guy to wait till marraige that is such a special gift to give to someone and you will definatly find a great girl who will want the same. Good work take care.

My suggestion at this point is to take a risk, try putting your arm around her or give her a hig and see how her body language is. This is the best way to tell. Is she squirms or pulls away, let her make the move next time when she is comfortable. I'm a guy who loves affection and is touchy, so I know how you feel man. Good luck!

It's nice that you respect her personal space, but maybe you should try to touch her very briefly and non-chalantly in "neutral" places, squeeze her shoulder, the back of her arm. . .your slight touch might just set off the sparks and maybe she'll drop her guard and let you in. If nothing works, find someone else who fills your need for cuddling!

good part bout marrige thing! i would tell her and ask her. see wat u two would be comftorable with,. meet each toher half way! thats wat a realationship is all about.
