now i am getting calls from private numbers....no one answers when i pick up, but the person is obviously still there.
is it him? if it is, why would he not say anything? he's older than me and it just seems sort of childish...

Let me see if I can best answer this question:
There is a chance that the person who is calling you and then hanging up is him. It could also be someone predatory or a prank call. If it is the guy you gave your number to and he doesn't say anything, he is probably shy and/or doesn't know what to say next. He is probably socially awkward and doens't know how to flirt with a lady over the telephone. Of course if it is someone prank calling or a predator, they are calling to see if you are home.

this is dumb. he likes you but wants you to call him and show that you like him back. if you do then talk to him in real life. i doubt he'll cave about this though. flirt with him and check him out. maybe that will send vibes of confidence for him to pipe up.

he is scared to talk to you, maybe call him next time. maybe he isnt the right guy because it seems kind of childish
