Red lights are fine.it is the regular white interior light that could get you pulled over if you had it on while driving. It reduces your vision because of the glare it causes off of the windshield at nite.Red lights however do not cause glare , and are used by many truckers while they are driving to help keep them alert.

Answer,,,,,, NO... Not Legal...
But you can get away with Glow as long as it doesn't flash on and off....
Red and Blue is for emergency Lighting spilt with Clear White...
Caution is Yellow or Orange... for mostly for road workers...Spilt with clear white...
Law is :::: 5.10. No red light which could give rise to confusion shall be emitted from a lamp as defined in paragraph 2.7. in a Forward direction....
(((There is way to much to type in here....)))
For car guys and gals most have changed interior lighting so you can only see a GLOW of the color on the person driving while driving... When sitting still off the street full lights can be used in or under.... While driving remember if the Officer can see the Light its self you can get a ticket or a warning...
Good Question....

ya, as long as they're not blue in the windshield or pulsing blue underbody, you should be ok. as long as they're not visible a considerable distance away, the cops shouldn't have a problem with any aftermarket ambience lighting. the cop would have to be pretty bored to pull you over for something like that.
