Who are they? Two Militant Islamic Groups? (This is not an attack on Islam)

First of all, it's Hamas and Fatah. The Hamas is the political party which was elected earlier in the year to run the government in the Palestinian areas. Fatah is headed by Abbas, and is the old party started by Yassir Arafat.

Abbas wants to call for early elections. Hamas is condemned around the world for terrorist activities (the entire party is not terrorist, although parts of it are) and aid has stopped flowing to the Palestinians. The two political parties have been sniping at each other, especially after the three little boys were killed.
