He has very strong feelings for someone else, his best friend who happens to be a girl. They have known each other their whole life, but she is always dating someone else.

Should i countinue being a close friend even though i will always be wanting something more?

Cherish the fact that you have this friend. Who knows what will happen. . .but don't keep yourself out of the dating scene just waiting for him. Maybe he needs to know what it feels like to see you dating someone and maybe you'll meet someone else even more special in the process.

You could be a good friend, but not close. You need to let him go and find someone that can love you as you love him. Your mate should consider you # 1 and put you first in ever thing.

well if i were you i would just tell him how i feel. becuz if i dont then he will never know how you feel. thats the best thing to do. even if he doesnt like you the same way, you know that your going to get broken hearted once in your life. and if he says no then just ask him if you can just be friends then..

talk to him and let him know how you feel. . .You could still be friends and look elsewhere for a relationship
