i need a recipe for the best and good and chewy banana cookies. i don't wanna add anything else to it. maybe some nuts though.which nuts do i use?is there even such things as banana nut cookies?and if so,are they good?and i plan on cutting them out with cookie cutters in to christmas trees shapes.

Crunchy Banana Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1/2-1 cup butter, softened to room temperature
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granola cereal

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar, with mixer on medium, until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla, and bananas, beating until well mixed.
Add the next 4 ingredients and stir until well blended.
Stir in granola.
Drop by spoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes or until set.
Remove from cookie sheets and place on wire rack to cool.

Banana Drop Cookies one million/4 cup rolled oats 3 tablespoons all pupose flour one million/4 teaspoon baking powder one million/4 teaspoon baking soda one million/2 banana, mashed one million tablespoon granulated sugar one million/2 teaspoon vanilla extract one million/2 teaspoon banana extract Preheat oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder and baking soda. mixture properly. upload final components and stir till mixed. Drop combination by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or till bottoms of cookies are gently browned. do away with cookies to a twine rack to relax. Makes 10 cookies.

BANANA NUT COOKIES

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
1/2 c. milk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, beat. Add bananas, milk and vanilla. Stir. Add flour and baking powder; stir. Add nuts and stir once again. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, approximately.
