I would like to know if it ever happened to anyone of you? What should I do?

I already went to the vet and he wants to operate my dog and I thought that maybe he was over-reacting, so that is why I'm asking if anyone has had that experience with a dog. Oh, and so you all know, the vet said that it has not enough product in it to be toxic for the dog.

Take him to the vet!
That thing is gonna do serious damage to his intestinal tract.
Not even considering what kinds of chemicals are in the cleaning soap.

No, your vet is not over-reacting. This could cause serious problems in your dog's digestive tract. The SOS pad could cause a blockage in the intestines, which could kill your dog if not treated immediately. At the very least, the steel wool is very abrasive and could cause severe irritation to the lining of the stomach and intestines. If you haven't already, get your dog in for surgery as soon as possible.

If your vet, who is educated in animal's health, thinks the dog needs surgery, why would you question that? SOS pads are metal and when chewed, shred apart. Going through the system can cause rips, punctures, and tears internally. You can chance it but I feel very bad for your dog, I would never deny my animal a surgery they needed! Imagine how that would feel coming out should he even be able to?

Take it to the vets, they are different than a cat!!! Metal is metal, it doesn't belong in the belly of anyone!
