Don't rely on other people to decide whether or not your weight is ok. Are you ok with your body? Does your doctor say you are healthy? If so who cares what other people think. If you aren't happy with it, then start living a healthier lifestyle no matter what other people say.
Who cares what we think, this is about you! You'll learn as you age that everyone has their own agenda - skinny people will tell you you are overweight because they are used to their own bodies. Overweight people will tell you you are skinny because they want to think everyone else is too skinny and that they are healthy, rather than admit to being overweight.

At this age, you shouldn't be worrying about your weight. Ask yourself these questions. How healthy do I eat? Do I eat lots of fruits and veggies? Do I exercise regularly? Do I lift any weights? If you answered yes to these questions, then don't worry. If you eat a lot of junk food and don't exercise, then maybe tweek a few things you do, like eat an apple instead of chips or go for a walk while you are talking to your friends on your cell. Small changes done while you are young will pay off big when you are older.
To answer your question though, no, I don't think you are overweight. I think this society has poisoned girls/womens minds to think that this is heavy. What you want to do is healthy things and the rest (positive body image) will come.

I think you're weight is above the normal weight range for height and age. The thing here is not to try to do crash diet but allow yourself to lose weight overtime. You are still young so you are still growing and it would be unhealthy to do crash diets. Some tips to help you lose some weight is: do regular exercises (15 minutes for the first week then gradually increase it to 30 minutes per day-- it can be jogging, swimming or mixed exercises), don't eat more than you can -- eat but don't overeat! Always eat at breakfast -- this will make you less hungry at lunch time. Don't eat too much carbohydrates like potato, rice, bread--- you have to eat some because they are good sources of energy, but don't overeat. Try NOT TO EAT sweets like cakes, pies, candies, chocolates and sweet drinks like packed juices and soft drinks-- because sweets can make you gain weight. Try NOT TO EAT junk foods like chips. When you're hungry, eat-- you can try fruit or veggies instead of cookies.

When I was that age and height, I was 120. 120 is about the average weight for someone at that age and height. I would say that 140 might be a bit too much.
