Sometimes people can be so unbelievably rude. There are no etiquette books, these days anyway, to tell people what's right and what's wrong; but sometimes you just know 'Hey, that's just not right.'
Example, back in the sad days when I needed to use a laundromat, I went to get my stuff out of the washer one day and I found a bunch of things that weren't mine. I was sure it was empty when I put first my clothes in. Anyway, a woman approached me and said 'Oh those are mine'. She had actually put her laundry in my wash after it had already started. Ewww! I just stood there speachless, I mean what do you say to something like that? She did'nt even thank me either!;)
Give me some good examples please, but keep it clean - excuse the pun.

Greengrass:No she actually put her laundry in my machine WHILE my clothes were being washed. She must have done this just after I left to go to the store. Moral of story; watch your clothes at the laundromat!

Sometimes I have to take a seat after walking though a shopping centre, as I have metal plates either side of my spine I limp and it tires me out or the pain becomes too intense.
Because I look young (late 30s) and I limp at times I get the looks.
And even verbal comments like im putting it on.. Sometimes I do say out loud.. how some people can be SOooo Rude.
Or worse.. Older people 60-80s will come up to you and say your Young you wouldn’t know what pain is… (till I tell them what injuries I have).. then its oOhhh.. Yah we understand.. poor thing..
After 20 years now with a broken spine, I get a little annoyed.
I don’t use Special handicapped car bays or wheel around in a chair or have crutches.
(I sometimes wish I had something protruding from my body).
Just so people would get out of there pre judgmental ways.

She put her clothes in the machine WHILE yours were being washed?! Oh my goodness! That IS rude! Sheesh!
But yeah ppl are rude these days. Politeness is no longer the norm. But was it ever? Back in, say, the 50s when ppl seemed polite on the outside, they were probably just as bad behind closed doors, if not worse.
I don't know what the worst thing was that's happened to me. There've been a lot. But recently a woman's car door hit my car while I was sitting in a parking lot. It was windy that day, so I can understand it. But it hit so hard that I FELT the car move. Praise God it hit the plastic part of my door handle so there was no damage.
But I got out of the car to see what had happened. And the woman said nothing! Not oh, excuse me, the door slipped from my hand. Nothing. I said thanks a lot lady. She then denied it and had the NERVE to say she would have noticed if she'd hit my car b/c she's driving a VOLVO SUV and then she insinuated I shouldn't bother her w/this concern b/c I was only driving a Focus!
This woman was a real piece of work! She was in the Marshall's strip mall on Ridge Avenue in Plymouth Meeting, PA!

Over the course of about 3-4 years, I dropped about 30 pounds (I needed to...I was a porker). People at work complimented me, asked me how I did it, etc. Fine. Within the past year, I dropped another 10 punda becuz I was pretty sick. I wasn't too skinny, but for me....(i'm petite) and some of my work clothes were a little big. Then I kepy hearing "you're SSSOOOOO skinny." All the time. In an elevator full of people, whenever. Very rude...I was eating and couldn't gain weight and I didn't know what was wrong. Last thing I need is a bunch of nosy co-workers on my back. Really.....would you go up to someone and say "WOW...you're fat !!!" Same thing to me....rude. (Especially the people who felt the need to say it EVERY time they saw me).

My dear mother-inlaw kept telling me and hubby that she was going to throw us a baby shower before we moved. It never happened and then she never veven sent a congratulations card after the baby was born and took over a year to visit us.
Then when me and hubby finally got married she didn't even send a card let alone a gift. Yet when she got remarried she flaunted how much money people gave her as wedding presents in my face. And then had the nerve to get pissed off at me when I mentioned that we were still waiting on her to send us even a card for our wedding.

My husband and I have adopted 5 bi-racial children. Once, I was in the park with my 3 youngest, who were still babies at the time. I was also with my friend who had her 3 blonde headed kids with her. This lady wearing an expensive designer jogging suit with her hair and makeup done came jogging by. Suddenly she stopped, turned around and walked back to us. She said "Cute kids, whose are whose?" I very proudly told her which ones were mine. She then said to me "Oh! Are they adopted or are you married to a black man?" She whispered the words "black man" like they were dirty words. I was so offended I just smiled and said "All six of these kids are adopted and we are married to eachother!" (We are not really lesbians, but the look on her face was priceless!) She gasped and turned around and ran off like her butt was on fire! She was very rude, but it was funny to put her in her place! What difference did it make to her if I was married to a black man or not?

It happens. Someone says "your lying' to me or I overhear conversation "he's a liar". Yet I didn't . Thats rude. Thats crude. I have to figure should I foget it and walk away because I never confront that person as they are not worth it;_ or should you use fishing line and turn them into four or more pieces, I'm serious. Tell someone they are lying when they are thats one thing, but when they are not thats, uuffff!!!????

I have2 disabled children, who are confined to wheelchairs...it is absolutely amazing to me that parents will allow their children to gawk at them...we will be in a public place and kids and even at times adults will just stop dead in their tracks and stare. These parents will just go on as if that is OK behavior and do nothing about it. We don't mind questions, in fact we welcome them, but to be treated as if we are part of a freak show is very rude.

This guy cut in front of me while I was standing in line. I said "Excuse me, I'm next in line." He cursed me out, and the cashier heard the whole thing and still waited on him before me.
