I don't praise a dead human being. I praise a risen Lord. The whole point of it is that he's God. You know, master of the universe, creator of all things. That kind of stuff.
And yes, he died. But then he rose again, that's another really important point.
If Jesus was just another human then christianity would make no sense and your question would be valid. However, Jesus isn't human, he's God.
Jesus is superior to humans because he CREATED humans.
And anyone who wants to get after me about that and say that Jesus didn't create us, God did, needs to be told that god and Jesus are THE SAME.

Well Pinky, Jesus never really did die. In Mathew Chapter 27, verse 50 Jesus dies on the cross for all of our sins. because God loves us. But in Mathew 28 It talks about two women visiting the tomb to find Jesus alive.

Answering this question could be a super super big essay because there is so much to say! To sum it up: Read the Bible. Jesus is both 100% human and 100% God. He's not dead for he rose again (why? Read the Bible passages). He is the messiah, son of God, the Lord, The Word, God, The Lamb of God, The Savior, The Redeemer, and so forth. He is certainly not some normal human.
ANd I don't think Jesus believes himself to be some 'big shot'. Afterall, he had very humble human beings, and died a very painful death. And that was just some of the examples of his love.

You obviously have not traversed a bible. Jesus was more than human, He was and is the son of God and therefore is certainly more superior than you or me. When you can be taken down from the cross and be raised up 3 days later, perhaps I will study about you a little more....until then, ease up.

Well, please let me correct your false assumption.
Jesus is not dead. He is alive. He was ressurrected and now sits on the right hand of our Heavenly Father.
Assumption number 2. Jesus IS superior. We have all sinned in this life. Most of us quite frequently. Jesus never sinned in thought or in deed.
