She is 13 years old and very boy crazy. Also I may have to mail the gift. I got kicked out of the house. Should I go back and give it to her in person? My parents are not calling me. Should I still get them a gift?

i read your profile, so i would have to say, no don't go home for the holiday. it is way too soon.

i would recommend asking a good family friend, or neighbor to give the gift to your sister.

you can't go wrong with gift certificates for music, that way if she likes a certain 'boy band' she can get posters or cd's.also like the above mentioned suggestion, about taking your sister shopping, that way the two of you could spend some time together alone.

i would worry if you send the gift that it would be marked 'return to sender'
your parents are shocked, maybe a little mad. time , hopefully will heal the wound.

i hope that you have a good holiday with the people you are with now, knowing that they love you should make you feel a little better.

You don't say how you got kicked out of your house. I don't think that real family will ditch you out on the holidays. I would talk to your sister and call your family. Worst case scenario it doesn't work out but the girl on the bottom says she knows its a bad situation? Maybe its better to take it easy and enjoy with other people that you love and let thinks wade out before things get better. I hope it works out for you!

What do you think she likes? Get her a poster of her fav artist or group. Clothes ! Take her shopping and see what she likes!
