The book of Mark was actually written by John Mark who wasn't a disciple, but a follower of the Apostles. The book itself was dictated by the Apostle Peter to John Mark at the end of Peter's life - probably somewhere in the 60's or 70's AD.

Unlike Matthew or Luke, it doesn't start with the birth of Christ, but rather with the ministry of John the baptist. The book focuses a lot on the final week of Jesus and his role in the redemption of man. Because it was dictated by Peter, it is in this book you will see more of how he dealt with the Apostle and his flamboyant, pendulum moods.

You will find the standard stories in this gospel. The story of John the Baptist, Jesus' teachings on the Pharisees, the cleansing of the money changers, Peter's denial the night before the crucifixion. The mock trial, standing before Pilate, the crucifixion, and finally the Resurrection.

As for not having a bible, you can read the gospel on www.bible.com. It has many translations, so you should find one that will make it an easy read. We can tell you what the book is about, and what it contains, but it sounds like the only way you can effectively complete this project is by reading it yourself and writing it in your own words.

Hope this helps!

One of my favorite parts of the Bible is Mark 11;23. It is called the confession of faith. What you say is what you get if you believe it with your heart. Mark 11;24 is called prayer of faith. It will work but you still have to say it.
Mark 11;25-27 expresses the extreme important of maintaining an attitude of forgiveness.
Interesting to note that these passages occur after Jesus had cursed the fig tree on the previous day.

Anyone who ever had the great privilege of hearing Kenneth E. Hagin(late) preach and teach, knows the tremendous significance of the aforementioned passages. You should be able to get a lot of mileage out of them.

One of my friend who is a very serious born again activist. Ones told me... End of this year , ( 2006 ). the world is going to end ( I dont know what sort of a end that is ) Then the God will come to this world and take only the ones who are born again. The rest of us will stay here with Satan . Later Mr.Satan will mark 666 on each and everyones back of the neck. Including me. Actually that's what the Born again chirch has brainwashed him. He is not a that much dumb person. But he is very serious about that. Today I called him to ask about the visit of his GOD. He was acting really busy and some how finally re stated - It 2008 , not 2007 or 2006.
The god or satan, choose now. be born again
