It might be an interesting change. Each culture makes Jesus look like themselves...

Jesus was a Jew and many Jews may consider playing his role to earn from it but there is a doubt if there will be a great turnouts among the Jews who wanted to be like him. Since he was Romanticized by the Romans or the Europeans and because his face being shown for many generations is of a European hero, maybe it will not be so attractive to the Jews to portray him.

Well Jesus was (and always was) Jewish, so it would be appropriate. (Modern Christianity actually derived from rumors of Jesus' followers and St. Paul, because Jesus was never so vain as to tell everyone to believe he was a god and that he would live forever. The religions are so incredibly similar, minus the fact that Christianity says Jesus was the son of God (which can't make sense, because unless Mary was Asexual, she couldn't have been a virgin by modern standards) and Judaism says there is just God.

LOL AMEN!
No kidding...I have to say I loved "The Greatest Story Ever Told" and "Jesus of Nazareth" and my all time favorite is the guy who played in "The Gospel of John", but I really would like to see Jesus played by someone of the jewish persuasion.

were they not Jewish in the passion movie? all the characters good and bad, other than the Romans, were Jewish. The high priests who condemned Jesus were Jewish. The disciples who followed Jesus were Jewish. Mary the mother of Jesus was Jewish. Judas who betrayed Jesus was Jewish. The women weeping for Jesus were Jewish. The mob was Jewish, some screamed to save Jesus, others to condemn him. Jesus was Jewish. Its already been done!

What am I supposed to think about that?
Are you stereotyping Jews as appearing a certain way all the time? ) :
As to answer your question: How do you know that they haven't already?

God chosen them some time previous and that is sturdy sufficient for me; by skill of them were the Oracles of God recorded-The "Covenants" by skill of them; God has promised they're going to be the most advantageous usa in the course of the 1000 yrs of Peace that we are quick coming near;the first Christians were Jews, Jesus Christ got here by skill of that race; The Gentile "Church " would reject them, yet I actually have "sturdy information" for them,God hasn't; Selah
