Do you think the "N" word should be banned from being used in the entertainment industry? explain y?

i'm not saying white people should use it, should black people not use it because of its history..What do you think?

it seems to be in bad taste to use the word, but censorship certainly isnt the answer. an artist should be free to express himself as he wants to, and if you dont want to hear it, dont listen.

but, on the other hand, when someone calls you a derogatory term, and you turn around and use the word too, it kinda takes some of the power out of that word.

anyone can say what they want to say, so long as its not a direct attack on anyone else.

Freedom of speech is one of our greatest freedoms, but it can get us into trouble. A long long time ago the “ N “ word was use to describe a race of people and usually meant as a put down. Now it seems all races uses the term meaning friend. I don’t get it. If you walk up to a black guy and say what up *****.. they get all p’oed…
I say its time to drop the “ its because I’m black “ crap… its year 2006 and its not about color, race, size or any thing. Its all about how you represent yourself to others.

So, back to the question. Nope, it shouldn’t be ban. Should the F word be ban? Its freedom of speech and how you deploy this freedom is up to you, but remember it will reflect back onto you so choose your words wisely.

No, that would take away from our freedom. If they were to ban that word they would basically end up telling us what we can and can't say. I believe in freedom of speech. I'm not racist nor do I use the word I just like the idea of someone telling me what I can and cannot say. I'm 15 I'd like to express myself in whatever way pleases me.
