This questions is easy. There are countless Christian organizations. What makes them different - how much they follow the teachings of Christ.

Protestant churches follow most to all of it. Catholic churchs follow much of it but add traditions that actually conflict with Christ teachings. And you have other groups like Mormons that make a claim to it as the basis of their teachings but go in a completely different directions of Christ teachings

There are thousands of different Christian organizations, but rather than concentrate on the differences we should look at what they all have in common. A true Christian organization believes that Jesus Christ is our savior and died for our sins.

Personally, I go to a Lutheran church because we agree that the Bible was written by God through man. The Old Testament is a history book and the New Testament with it's two commandments is how we should live our lives today.

I consider so called Christian organizations like Catholics and Baptist to be cults, because they have added many ideas to their worship and ways they say someone has to live their lives that aren't included in the Bible. I believe it's wrong to add to or takeaway from the Bible. God Bless!

just within the Baptists alone there are at least 3000 different varieties... Then you have the Protestants and then each of those has several variations.... and then there are any number of independant churches...all of this just in the USA... then add up all the rest of the world...Waaaay tooooo many.... dome of the differences are so pettu as to be just over interpretation of one or two verses...I am of The True Christian Faith. Which is all who have come to God in The Way He prescribes and who have received His free gift of Salvation. Those are of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head,,, I attend, and am a member by election of the membeship, a small concervative Baptist congrigation. But ALL True Christians are of The Church.

It would deive you batty trying to figgure out all the differences between the various, denominations, sects, groups, gatherings, and whatevers, of all those of The Chritian Faith...But there are far fewer of The True Faith than most believe... many, perhaps the majority, of those who claim the title are not truly "Christian"

If you mean denominations, for the most part there isn't much of a difference. Every "christian" denomination has the foundation for the faith such as that there is a God, Jesus is the messiah, the Bible is God's word, etc. However, different denominations have few different beliefs such as how one is to be baptised, how they are to worship. Some are also a little more strict on how they parent their children than others.

Hope that helps, there isn't too much of a difference. You just need to find which denomination is right for you.

There are many with many differences. Following the bible is the best bet / reading the new testament and praying about God giving you true understanding. Start with Gospel of John. Anyway- the most important thing will be to understand the core of Christianity: Christ was born virgin birth.
He died on the cross for our sin. We can have relationship by giving Him our sin as He was the last sacrifical lamb. He died for all peoples no matter who you are or what sin you have committed. All people/every one has sinned and falls short of God 's expectations of us. By accepting Jesus death on cross and giving Hime evrery bit of your sin's... and asking His forgiveness and letting Him know you desire relatioship with Him... He will not let any one person down if they are sincere. He is real. It happened to me when I said it never would. I became a born again Christian. Be not afraid He says.... there is nothing, not a thing greater in life than experienceing Christ.

Before going on to that, let us examine the reason for splitting first..

The main reason is that the Bible has so many different versions. That almost any number of sections can be formed out of different versions.

The problem lies in the fact that, a translation can never equal the original text. The original bible in Hebrew is lost.

But Qurán is still available in its original version. And God Had promised to protect it.

That is why Qura'n has only one version though being 1400 years after first revealed.

The growth of printing, computers and internet makes the Qurán so widely available, that it is impossible now to realese a different version of it...

Isn't God true to his promises, all praise be to God alone....

There are hundreds of different forms of Christianity.

At one time there were more than 300 different forms of the Baptist religion, Then there is the Church of Christ, Catholics, Episcopal, Church of God, 7th day Adventists, bereans, and Greek Orthodox, Mininites, Amish Mormons, Children Of God, etc.

More sects and diferences of Christianity than could be typed in an answer let alone descriptions

There are many ways of classifying the over 1,000 Christian faith groups in North America:
By denomination
Into three or four meta-groups (e.g. Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Anglican),
By theological belief system (Calvinism, Arminianism, etc.)
By religious family, (Baptist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, etc.), and
By "wing." The conservative, mainline, and liberal wings of Protestantism are described below. heres the web site i used, it goes on to tell the differences, to long to list.http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_divi.htm
