you know, I have asked myself the same question. I don't have any "spiritual gifts" myself. but i know some people do, and those people think it's great and use them and think of their gift as a gift from God. But I"m 99.9% THe bible says not to use magic, or dream readers, or fortune tellers or speak to the dead so why are some people given these gifts and think it's a gift from god. It's confusing.

The purpose for the gift is to promote the kingdom of God. If you have gifts, you should use them. If you just "think" you have gifts like most all Charismatics and Pentecostals, then you should seek help in getting out from under the curse that sin has placed on you.
