Pagan, please, not "Paganist". ::shudders:: That word drives me batty.

Defying god? Not particularly. I suppose you could say that I'm defying the Christian God by not following him, but it's just as easy to say Christians are defying my gods by not following Them, so it's something of a finger-pointing exercise that I'd rather avoid.

Establishing a coven is not for the faint of heart. Typically, this involves not only a reasonable amount of training and knowledge, but a significant amount of work.

I agree with Arcadian. I don't defy gods--in fact I honor several of them. If you mean defying the Christian god, I don't do that either because I don't spend time on religions/deities that I don't worship. I concern myself with my own practices and deities.

A book that you may find interesting about covens is called "Covencraft" by Amber K. It has a lot of information and practical suggestions for finding/starting a coven. It is a large book, a wonderful reference guide and well worth the money.

Well, call me stupid, but why are you pagan? Do you believe in any God/Goddess? How can you defy something you don't believe exists?

Which Christian church?

Anne Coulter is Christian? That's a surprise, she certainly doesn't act it.

All must find their own path to God. Good luck in your journey.
