The real answer is also a question: "What's in it for me?" I don't think you can make a call without every detail. Are they foreign Communist soldiers? Are we talking 10 years in the future, and since we're talking in hypotheticals, they freed us from genocidal fascist rule? Are they somehow different from virtually every communist group that has come before and somehow actually make our lives better, ie eliminate crime, provide full, well paying employment with proper benefits, give us a 4 day workweek where we only work 6 hour days yet maintain high productivity with higher pay. Then no, I doubt I would resist. However if they were like virtually every other communist nation and caused strife, poverty, and oppression then I would resist to the bitter end.

Ab-so-freakin-lutely, without a doubt, without question. I have had apocalyptic dreams indicating we will see another war on American soil. I'd like to think they are merely dreams, but after 20 years of the same dreams of warfare, and bloodshed, I am beginning to wonder. I will rise to lead others to shelter, and safety in my dreams. The casualties will be great, but we will prevail yet again against those whom would rob us of our freedoms. I have seen this in my dreams, and I am reminded that freedom isn't free. I will serve my country, not so much for the political machine, but for the ideals what we embrace as Americans. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This is what I will fight for.
