Is it a turn off for a younger woman to make the move? I made a move on this guy, and he seemed kind of taken a back by it. Flustered even. We're great friends and I have really fallen for him, so I made the move. Should I just back off and give him time to think about it? Or should I talk to him?

I say talk to him and explain why you made the move. Tell him you were tired of waiting for him to make it so you took matters into your own hands. I would feel flattered if a younger woman made a move on me.

There's nothing wrong with making a move. If u want something go after it. Otherwise you'll just keep wondering and you'll regret it.
If he was taken a back, back off. He knows how you feel. Maybe its important to him to keep you as a friend and nothing more. I'm sure you two will talk it out in the near future

I always loved having girls asking me out. He might have been caught by surprise as you never had given him any signs that you were interested. You should try to get what you want, sometimes if you don't take a chance it will not happen.
It does not make you easy and you should not let a guy think that. If you ask a guy out and he accepts remember you do still deserve respect and to be treated right. If not dump him. Know who you are asking out, if they take it the right way go for it and enjoy it. It is always better to know if someone likes you ( in a relationship way) than to always wonder about it. While you are wondering he might find somebody else. GOOD LUCK AND ASK HIM OUT.!!!

I like it when younger women make the first move. Maybe the problem wasn't that you made the first move. He might not be interested in you that way, and he just wants to stay friends and nothing more.

You made the first move...the next one is up to him. Getting pushy will definitely turn him off. At the very least it will make him think you are looking for a piece. He knows where you stand and how you feel about him, so let him come to you now.

Rather than sitting around worrying, I would make the first move. See what he's thinking and work on it from there. If he wants a realationship then great. If not continue to work on your friendship. *smiles*

Go for it. For the most part, it just sounds like your move was unexpected, not unwanted. We mere males slow down in our old age, so it's easier if the woman wants to be caught... ;)

Actually, he's really the best one to answer this question. Call him and ask him just like you have it phrased up there, you'll be surprised that older guys are really comfortable with this kind of honesty.

Sure you can talk to him, but don't push yourself on him, let him make the next move in your friendship moving forward.

Maybe he only thinks of you as a friend. Talk to him.
