I am doing a powerpoint project on simple machines and the last slide that is about the efficiency of machines, what i need to know is what that means, how to calculate it, and a definition. THX!

I think, in theory, efficiency is 100% (the work you put in should come out). In reality, there is friction. Actual efficiency is: Work output by the machine / work put into the machine * 100%
