I've recently got out of a relationship that I was in for two months. The girl said that she wanted to be single and "right now isn't the best time for me to have a bf." I was kinda feeling the same so we broke up. I can't get her out of my head and yesterday we went out to a skating event as friends. I told her, after the event, that I still love her and she told me the same but she said her love for me was not as deep as mine. She said that she will go out with me again. I want to buy her an x-mas gift and i want to continue to see her. is this a good idea, do you think we could ever get back together, and what is she really saying when she says, "right now isn't the best time for me to have a bf?????????"

She is not ready for a committed relationship with you or probably anyone at this time. You can still get hurt if you don't safe guard your heart. You love her but cannot have any expectation. If you can handle it - be a friend, not a lover - buy a gift for a friend. If it hurts too much to give her total freedom you may want to just take a break from her for awhile, spend more time with friends. Still would buy her a nice gift. It is Christmas - the giving time.

I'm just going to be straight up honest with you. This girl wants her time and space! First clue: "but she siad her love for me was not as deep as mine" I am speaking from a personal experience. I just got out of a relationship with someone that I have been with for the past 2 1/2 years. I told him the smae thing i want to explore the world and fish for the other fish in the sea which is what she wants. My personal advice, buy her a gift if you feel you want too, but don't be disappointed if she doesn't buy you one. As far as continuing to see her...just give her the space she wants. The thing is, she probably doesn't want to come out and tell you she needs her space, but just give it to her. You'll see eventually it was the right thing, because she'll do one of two things come back or not, and if she doesn't then there is something better out there for you!

If you buy her a gift make it something cheap not anything you would buy a girlfriend. She is trying to be nice and tell you she no longer has any romantic feeling towards you but you seem to keep missing the message. Do yourself a favor and find someone who will like you the same way you like them. She does not sound like a bad person, just someone who does not know how to tell you to back off.

no, don't buy her a gift. chances are likely that she's not thinking of getting you one. and when she says she dosn't think it's the right time she may be talking to someone else or she just dosen't want to be tied down right now. you can still go out with her but stop telling her you love her, let her express her fellings towards you.

don't waste your money. she's stringing you along because she's hoping to find someone better, but doesn't quite want to let go in case she doesn't find anyone.
